Abstract

The object of development is universal-assembled machine tools for body parts of medium dimensions and methods for automating their design. Methods of design automation theory, basing theory, system- structural analysis and modeling, logic algebra, and set theory were used for research and solution of the tasks set in the work.

The presented system allows you to do the following: form a locating chart for workpieces that provides the required tolerances for the relative location of structural elements at the design stage; issue a task for the design of the device in the form of a theoretical installation scheme; perform computer-aided design of 3D models of universal-assembled machine tools, their drawings, as well as technological schemes for their assembly and disassembly.

The use of system in engineering enterprises allows: to reduce the likelihood of a nonremovable defect through science-based solutions for providing tolerances of the mutual arrangement of structural elements of detail at the design stage of the layout; to reduce the time of production preparation; to employ low-qualified workers for assembling; to make up the most rational nomenclature of the starter kits; include a universal service-teams of devices into a single automated system of technological preparation of production.
