abstractThe investigation of different sorts of flax, cultivated in the Vitebsk area of agriculture was carried out on the basis of “Dubrovno flax plant.” The influence of different counts and sorts of flax straw on fibers output was investigated. The comparison of the domestic and foreign sorts of flax has been done. The chemical analyses of bast bundle tissues from flax straw of different counts has been made. The dependency of the duration of retting of different sorts of flax straw on the yield and the quality of flax fibers has been defined. The results will help reduce the amount of low numbers flax in the total production, what is an actual problem for the domestic agricultural enterprises. |
