abstract

The role of competition in modern social and economic development is revealed. The factors including  structural reorganization of economy, increase of scientifically-innovative activity of the enterprises (especially export-focused), consolidation of communication of a science with manufacture, increase of labour productivity and optimization of number of the employed which are necessary for the development of the competitive environment in Belarus are revealed:. Special attention is given to institutional factors of formation of the competitive environment in Belarus.
