abstractThe way of processing of a galvanic waste is described in this paper. This way allows receiving the nickel powder with the least expenditures. The source the precipitating agent for conducting the chemical reaction was selected the iron swaft formed by details mechanical machining. The formulas of proceeding chemical reactions of substitution are listed. The calculation of the residual concentration of substances in the solution is given. The process of substitution is described. The existing classification of an iron chip is made and recommendations about its application as the precipitating agent are given.
