abstract


It is known that the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation of ТIO2 absorption of a photon with energy larger than the band gap, leads to the formation of stable pair "electron-hole" which is called the "exciton". Thus photocatalytic oxidation is initiated  presumably able to neutralize the air of chemicals. Applying gaz сhromatografic measuring  of ethyl acetate, acetone, toluene, xylene, butyl acetate, hexane concentrations in the working area, it was found that the experimental surface with nano titanium dioxide coating with continuous irradiation with ultraviolet light have the ability to deodorize and neutralize the air of harmful chemicals.
