abstract

As a result of primary research produced that oilseed flax stems contain a large amount of valuable high quality cellulose fibers in an amount of from 18 % to 22 %.

In Ukraine the implementation of an integrated technology for processing oilseed flax can be produced in sufficient quantities, annually renewable domestic raw materials for natural, organic materials that have wide industrial use, both in our country and in the world market.

Preliminary analysis of the length, the physical and mechanical properties, content and output fibers gives every reason to assume oilseed flax quite suitable for use in the manufacture of geotextiles, nonwovens and composites, as well as in cellulose and paper industry.
