Investigation of microwave drying of fabrics

abstract

The results of experimental investigation of the fabrics drying process in the field of super high frequency are stated. It is established that the increase of the capacity of the generating source is directly proportional to a reduction of the drying time and the volume density of the heat emission in the material and Pomerantzev’s criteria. The equations to calculate the fabrics drying kinetics in the field of the super high frequency in the capacity range of the super high frequency generator 300 – 850 W are obtained.
