abstractA method and device for contactless measurement of textile materials relative lengthening by changing the anisotropy coefficient of light scattering reflected by the material under study is presented. Testing of different knitted fabrics showed high convergence of the tensile curves obtained by the proposed method and by the direct materials measurement.
